Gina Favano is a self taught multi-disciplinary artist born in 1973 in Philadelphia. In 2003 she converted a school bus to run on used vegetable oil and incorporated teaching coast-to-coast biofuel workshops into her modus vivendi as a touring musician. She has been a scenic artist in the IATSE Local 489 Filmworkers Union since 2008. She draws her inspiration from ecology, personal mythology, text, alchemy, and mortality. Currently she performs solo and with her band "Come Holy Spirit". She is a member of the Pittsburgh Bloomcraft/Babyland collective. She divides her time between her home in a wooded enclave of Pittsburgh and a dome-shaped boathouse on the Mississippi River.
